This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Deliver exceptional instruction utilizing a pre-developed curriculum.
• Guide and mentor doctoral students while participating in doctoral committees.
• Provide constructive feedback to support the successful completion of learners.
• Be accessible within 48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays, via phone, email, and in the courseroom.
• Facilitate asynchronous discussions for 10-week courses and offer feedback on assignments.
• Travel within the United States for doctoral residencies and occasional business requirements.
• Leverage the online learning platform to enhance the educational experience.
• Set high expectations and clarify evaluation criteria.
• Comply with university policies and procedures.
• Attend faculty meetings, workshops, and training sessions as necessary.
• Engage in additional activities as determined by university needs.
• Accept ongoing assignments based on expertise and school requirements.
• A master’s degree from an accredited Council on Social Work Education and a regionally accredited program is mandatory.
• All degrees must be awarded by a regionally accredited institution.
• The successful candidate must possess a graduate-level Social Work license.
• Must secure, at a minimum, a Graduate Level Social Work licensure in the State of Minnesota upon hire, including passing the ASWB exam with their current graduate-level license.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in the discipline is required for the undergraduate level.
• A minimum of three years of professional experience in the discipline is required for the graduate level.
• Research, scholarship, or significant achievements in the discipline are necessary for graduate-level positions.
• Doctoral-level experience in conducting and supervising research within the discipline is required.
• Three years of teaching experience is preferred.
• A doctorate in social work or a closely related field is preferred.
• Proven knowledge of academic evaluation processes.
• Proficiency in oral presentation skills, as well as planning and organizing course objectives.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Demonstrated familiarity with academic technology.
• Strong computer competency.
• Ability to professionally and ethically manage potentially stressful situations.
• Applicants must possess authorization to work in the United States.

• Capability to access necessary information using a computer.
• Ability to meet critical-thinking and problem-solving demands and effectively communicate with colleagues.
• Willingness to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs arise.
