Part-time Faculty, Health Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver substantive and timely feedback to students on their assessment tasks.

• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment that prioritizes student needs.

• Fulfill necessary responsibilities by set deadlines, including final grades, assessments, grading rubrics, and grade appeal submissions.

• Engage in relevant professional training and/or scholarly activities as needed.

• Offer feedback to the course lead regarding the course material.

• Identify students at risk and work collaboratively with student services.

• Collaborate closely with the Academic Program Director and fellow faculty members.

• Enhance program quality, student engagement, and overall student success.

⛳️ Requirements

• A doctoral degree in Health Services or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.

• 3-5 years of preferred experience in higher education teaching.

• Preferred experience in serving on doctoral dissertation committees.

• Preferred experience as a dissertation chair.

• Demonstrated ongoing scholarly activity, such as peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, or scholarly research, is preferred.

• Preferred experience in mentoring doctoral students.

• Professional health services certifications, such as FACHE, CMM, CPH, and CPHRM, are preferred.

• Preferred experience in online doctoral teaching.

• Experience with qualitative, quantitative, and/or mixed-methods research is preferred.

• A cover letter, curriculum vitae, and unofficial transcripts of the highest degree attained must be submitted.
