Part-time Faculty, Health Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver substantive and timely feedback to students regarding their assessment activities.

• Foster a positive, secure, inclusive, and student-focused learning environment.

• Complete all required tasks by set deadlines, including final grades, assessments, grading rubrics, and contributions for grade appeals.

• Engage in necessary professional training and/or scholarly activities as applicable.

• Provide insights to the course lead concerning course content.

• Identify students who may be at risk and work collaboratively with student services.

• Collaborate closely with the Academic Program Director and fellow faculty to enhance program quality, student engagement, and overall student success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctoral degree in Health Services or a related discipline from a regionally accredited institution.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in higher education teaching is preferred.

• Experience on doctoral dissertation committees is preferred.

• Preferred experience as a dissertation chair.

• Evidence of continuous scholarly activity, such as peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, or scholarly research, is preferred.

• Mentoring experience with doctoral students is preferred.

• Professional health services certifications like FACHE, CMM, CPH, or CPHRM are preferred.

• Preferred experience in online doctoral teaching.

• Experience with qualitative, quantitative, and/or mixed-methods research is preferred.

• A cover letter is required.

• A curriculum vitae is required.

• Unofficial transcripts of the highest degree attained are required.
