Part-Time Director / Board Member

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Serve as a Board-level advisor on governance, strategy, regulatory issues, and business performance.

• Assist the organization in navigating the MiCA licensing process, focusing on regulatory readiness, necessary documentation, and governance framework.

• Oversee adherence to Polish financial regulations and EU crypto-asset regulatory stipulations.

• Represent the company before regulators and external stakeholders as needed.

• Evaluate Board-level KPIs, financial outcomes, operational risks, and strategic objectives.

• Counsel the CEO and senior leadership team on regulatory, corporate, and market-related concerns.

• Participate in strategic decisions regarding product direction, European expansion, risk management, and business growth.

• Enhance internal governance standards, accountability, reporting structures, and decision-making processes.

• Cultivate trustworthy relationships with regulators, industry partners, and key market stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Permanent residency in Poland.

• Proficiency in Polish and English.

• At least 2 years of senior management experience in financial services, FinTech, payments, crypto, banking, or another regulated sector.

• In-depth knowledge of governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and Board-level accountability.

• Prior experience as a Board member, Director, or in a senior leadership role within a regulated company is highly desirable.

• An excellent professional reputation with no adverse records, sanctions, or issues that could impede regulatory approval.

• Strong strategic thinking and commercial insight, with the ability to promote business growth in a regulated environment.

• Familiarity with crypto, digital assets, MiCA, AML, or virtual asset operations is a significant advantage.

• Strong decision-making and strategic thinking abilities.
