This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough behavioral health assessments and intake evaluations for children, adolescents, and their caregivers, focusing primarily on ADHD and anxiety.

• Collect developmental, behavioral, psychiatric, medical, family, school, and psychosocial histories.

• Evaluate symptom severity, functional impairment, diagnostic criteria, and differential diagnoses.

• Synthesize clinical interview data, standardized measures, collateral information, and records into cohesive clinical formulations.

• Recognize and evaluate safety concerns, including conducting risk assessments and safety planning when necessary.

• Provide evidence-based treatment recommendations and subsequent steps, which may include Clarity services, external referrals, or higher levels of care.

• Clearly and compassionately communicate clinical findings and recommendations to families.

• Ensure the completion of timely, accurate, and high-quality clinical documentation.

• Collaborate with behavioral health, medical, and care coordination teams to facilitate care transitions.

• Consistently apply assessment protocols while utilizing clinical judgment for complex cases.

• Engage in consultation, training, calibration, and quality improvement initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in a relevant behavioral health field with active licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC; or a doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) with active licensure as a psychologist.

• Currently licensed in California with willingness to acquire licensure in additional states.

• Proven experience in assessing children and adolescents and collaborating with parents and caregivers.

• Strong expertise in diagnostic assessment, clinical formulation, differential diagnosis, and treatment planning.

• Background in assessing and treating pediatric ADHD and/or anxiety.

• Capability to evaluate risk, safety, symptom severity, and functional impairment to determine the appropriate level or type of care.

• Proficient in synthesizing information from diverse sources and identifying clinically relevant details.

• Experience in administering and interpreting standardized behavioral health screening or assessment tools.

• Ability to clearly communicate clinical findings to families.

• Comfort in working within a structured, evidence-based assessment framework while exercising independent clinical judgment.

• Value the importance of measurement, clinical quality, feedback, and consistency.

• Tech-savvy with a quick learning ability.

• Must have a reliable and secure internet connection in a private, distraction-free environment.

• Willingness to provide services during peak hours (6–8 pm PT and/or Saturday 8 am–2 pm PT) for a minimum of 2 hours per week.
