Part-Time Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients

• Manage general financial responsibilities for client accounts

• Address client inquiries and resolve issues

• Review financial information from all departments within clients' organizations

• Acquire knowledge in eCommerce and inventory accounting

• Collaborate with the sales tax team to deliver comprehensive financial insights to eCommerce clients

• Clarify financial concepts and accounting specifics to clients

• Evaluate financial data to produce precise monthly and annual reports

• Maintain accurate financial records

• Engage in audits or reconciliations as necessary

• Supervise and mentor assigned specialists

• Interact with clients and colleagues through virtual teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

• Over 5 years of experience in accounting

• Proficient in analyzing and interpreting financial statements

• Confident in conveying accurate accounting information to clients and colleagues

• Availability of 25+ hours per week

• 3–4 hours of availability during standard business hours for meetings and client interactions

• Excellent time management skills

• Self-motivated individual capable of working independently

• Effective communication skills across virtual teams

• Familiarity with QuickBooks, small business accounting, or eCommerce operations is preferred but not required

• Experience as a controller, CPA certification, or CMA certification is advantageous
