This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Aruba.

📋 Description

• Engage in conversations with the model in Papiamento on a diverse array of subjects.

• Ensure linguistic precision and cultural appropriateness.

• Capture reproducible error patterns.

• Propose enhancements for prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Test advanced language models on colloquial expressions, contextual understanding, tone modulation, syntactic correctness, and semantic accuracy.

• Record model failure modes to enhance model reasoning.

⛳️ Requirements

• A specialist in the Papiamento language with knowledge of grammar, orthography, regional variations, pronunciation patterns, idiomatic phrases, and cultural references specific to Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao.

• Relevant professional background in teaching, translation, localization, or editorial roles is preferred.

• Strong metacognitive communication skills—demonstrating your thought process—is crucial.

• A degree in Linguistics, Translation, Papiamento Language, Literature, or a related discipline is highly desirable.
