This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Aruba.

📋 Description

• Engage in conversations with the model in Papiamento on a diverse array of subjects.

• Ensure linguistic precision and cultural appropriateness.

• Record reproducible error logs.

• Propose enhancements for prompt engineering and assessment criteria.

• Test advanced language models on colloquial expressions, contextual understanding, tone adjustments, syntactical correctness, and semantic accuracy.

• Document instances of model failures to strengthen model reasoning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in the Papiamento language, encompassing grammar, spelling, regional dialects, pronunciation trends, idiomatic phrases, and cultural nuances specific to Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao.

• Relevant professional background in teaching, translation, localization, or editorial roles is preferred.

• Effective, reflective communication—demonstrating your thought process—is crucial.

• A Master's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Papiamento Language, Literature, or a related discipline is highly desirable.
