Paid Search Specialist, Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the daily management of Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising accounts, including account structure, keywords, bids, budgets, negative keywords, audiences, and ad copy.

• Oversee and manage a substantial monthly media budget, ensuring alignment with CPA and volume objectives.

• Predict performance outcomes and make necessary adjustments throughout the month.

• Develop and refine Search and Performance Max campaigns.

• Conduct ongoing testing of ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, match types, audience segments, and creative assets.

• Perform search query analysis, competitor tracking, and market/keyword expansion.

• Ensure compliance of ads, extensions, and landing pages with advertising policies and industry-specific regulatory standards.

• Handle advertising appeals and manage disapproval resolutions.

• Collaborate with Google and Microsoft account teams on beta tests, support, and alpha access opportunities.

• Analyze comprehensive performance metrics in GA4, tracking from acquisition to conversion and revenue generation.

• Create and manage GA4 conversion tracking, events, audiences, and custom reports using Google Tag Manager.

• Lead weekly performance reporting, monthly business reviews, and ad hoc deep dives for leadership.

• Reconcile platform data with GA4 and internal data, clarifying any discrepancies.

• Build and maintain reporting frameworks in Data Studio.

• Offer insights for landing pages, promotional offers, and creative strategies.

• Report directly to the Head of Performance Marketing and collaborate closely with the Paid Social Specialist.


⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive, proven hands-on experience in paid search across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.

• Demonstrated success in managing significant paid search budgets, with direct accountability for performance outcomes.

• Strong familiarity with GA4, including reporting, event and conversion setup, audience creation, and analysis.

• Proficient in using spreadsheets to model scenarios, forecast results, and identify anomalies.

• Capability to work independently and set priorities effectively.

• Experience in an agency or in-house setting within a highly regulated industry is preferred.

• Knowledge of the German language is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and Data Studio is preferred.

• Experience with server-side or consent-mode tracking configurations is a plus.

• Background in paid social, programmatic, or broader performance channels is desirable.

• Google Ads and GA4 certifications are considered beneficial.
