Overnight Radiologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +32 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide remote overnight coverage for radiology services.

• Primarily interpret radiology cases from the ER and inpatient settings.

• Offer support to Level 1 Trauma centers.

• Collaborate with multiple radiologists working during the night in a team-oriented environment.

• Coordinate with local radiologists who are available on-site for assistance.

• Establish strong relationships with referring physicians and ER teams.

• Utilize standardized imaging protocols, policies, and procedures to enhance workflow efficiency.

• Operate within a physician-led medical group that provides governance and administrative backing.

• Employ tools such as VizAI, GE PACS, EPIC integrated EMR with PACS, Powerscribe One, RadAI, AiDOC, and various AI technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.

• Completion of a recognized Radiology residency program.

• Fellowship training is welcomed but not mandatory.

• Must be eligible for medical licensure in Illinois.

• Willingness to work overnight shifts of 8 or 9 hours, typically from 10:00/11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. CST.

• Availability for full-time or part-time positions.
