This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Drive sales growth and profitability through account management.
• Focus on expanding complex business opportunities and developing new accounts.
• Track key performance indicators for assigned professional clients.
• Collaborate with the Pro Sales Manager to meet or exceed sales and margin targets.
• Utilize data, customer insights, and Pro customer satisfaction feedback to enhance competitive positioning and capability adoption.
• Attend district and regional meetings as required.
• Provide weekly updates on activities to the Pro Sales Manager.
• Represent The Home Depot Pro brand at local community events.
• Market enterprise products and services, including Commercial Credit, Volume Pricing, delivery, will-call pickup, and online ordering.
• Generate new account revenue that aligns with organizational goals and quotas.
• Collaborate daily with the Inside Sales Support Representative on quotes, orders, and transactions.
• Develop customer relationships through in-person sales meetings.
• Increase the customer base within the designated sales territory.
• Manage assigned customer portfolios and seek opportunities for incremental sales growth.
• Utilize Salesforce to strategize sales calls, manage customer communications, and oversee the sales pipeline.
• Conduct initial customer meetings to promote The Home Depot value proposition.
• Identify prospects through internal Sales Development leads, existing client relationships, stores, and the local community.
• Report directly to the Pro Sales Manager; this position has no direct reports.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Minimum educational requirement: high school diploma and/or GED.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Preferably 2 years of experience in account management or sales management.
• Preferred 2+ years of experience in the home improvement or home building industry.
• Strong capacity to build and maintain a robust network of relationships.
• Ability to leverage relationships to achieve sales and profitability objectives.
• In-depth understanding of Pro customer needs.
• Capability to tailor communications and customer interactions effectively.
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills; ability to persuade and influence others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel overnight 20% to 50% of the time.
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and lift or handle moderate-weight materials or equipment (8–20 pounds).
• Must be able to work in environments with temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes.
