Outreach Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Engage with K-6 educational institutions to present the Book Blast program.

• Reach out via phone and email to school representatives to introduce Book Blast.

• Arrange brief Zoom presentations with principals, school leaders, and key influencers.

• Confirm attendance and distribute calendar invites.

• Efficiently manage rescheduling of presentations.

• Motivate principal involvement and ensure appropriate stakeholders are present.

• Accurately and promptly log activities, notes, and outcomes in HubSpot.

• Adhere to compliant outreach practices that respect school policies and student privacy.

• Provide insights from conversations to enhance messaging and contact databases.

• Complete any special projects as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 1 year of experience in outbound phone-based inside sales with a consistent activity level.

• Excellent communication skills characterized by warmth and active listening.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow through effectively.

• Comfortable utilizing CRM tools such as HubSpot and calendar applications like Zoom.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Open to coaching with a willingness to engage in call reviews and receive feedback.

• Minimum of 1 year of outbound B2B sales experience (Required).

• Experience making calls to K-8 schools (Preferred).

• Familiarity with handling objections in fast-paced school settings (Preferred).

• At least 1 year of remote working experience (Preferred).

• Candidates must reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, North Carolina, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, or Texas.
