Outpatient Telehealth Staff Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver services to a varied demographic of patients, managing an average caseload of 50 patients weekly, or about 8–12 daily.

• Administer evidence-based psychotherapy along with medication management.

• Create individualized treatment plans tailored to diverse patient needs.

• Provide care through a telehealth platform.

• Offer support and guidance to colleagues and supervisors.

• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings.

• Report directly to the Medical Director.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-Certified Psychiatrist or Board-Eligible in Psychiatry.

• Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.

• Completed a Psychiatry residency program, featuring diverse rotations, including Primary Care.

• Active and in good standing Medical Doctor license in at least one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, or Massachusetts.

• Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine along with a DEA number in at least one listed state.

• Demonstrated experience and a commitment to supporting Psychotherapy treatment.

• Familiarity with psychotherapy modalities such as CBT and DBT.

• Experience in treating patients in an outpatient context.

• Background in telehealth/telemedicine.

• Capability to prescribe medications.

• Ability to document concurrently during patient sessions.

• Strong clinical knowledge coupled with excellent communication skills.

• Understanding of patient education, diagnosis, and treatment planning.

• Proficient in Google Suite, company-wide platforms/software, and relevant EHR systems.

• Intermediate computer skills and technical proficiency.

• Interest in pursuing a Supervisory/Leadership role.

• Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States; work visa sponsorship is not available.
