Outpatient Telehealth Staff Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver services to a varied patient demographic, serving approximately 50 patients weekly or 8–12 daily.

• Provide psychotherapy based on evidence and manage medications.

• Create tailored treatment plans for individual patients.

• Offer care through a telehealth platform.

• Provide support and guidance to colleagues and supervisors.

• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings.

• Embody the values and collaborative spirit of Rivia Mind.

• Utilize evidence-based psychopharmacology and psychotherapeutic methods customized for each patient.

• Take part in clinical training programs and quality enhancement initiatives.

• Report directly to the Medical Director.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-Certified Psychiatrist; either Board-Eligible or Board-certified in Psychiatry.

• Doctor of Medicine degree from a recognized institution.

• Completed a Psychiatry residency program, including a variety of rotations such as Primary Care.

• Active and in good standing Medical Doctor license in at least one of the states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, or Massachusetts.

• Active and unrestricted medical practice license and a DEA number for at least one of the listed states.

• Demonstrated experience and commitment to supporting Psychotherapy treatment.

• Familiarity with psychotherapy approaches like CBT or DBT.

• Experience in treating patients within an outpatient environment.

• Proficient in telehealth/telemedicine practices.

• Capability to prescribe medications.

• Ability to document concurrently during patient sessions.

• Strong clinical knowledge alongside excellent communication skills.

• Skills in patient education and developing diagnosis/treatment plans.

• Competence with Google Suite, company-wide platforms/software, and applicable EHR systems.

• Intermediate computer skills and technical proficiency.

• Desire to advance into a Supervisory/Leadership position.

• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; work visa sponsorship is not available.
