Orthodontic Billing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Submit precise and accurate dental insurance claims utilizing the appropriate CDT codes.

• Monitor and proactively pursue outstanding claims to guarantee payment.

• Manage both commercial and state-sponsored plans, including Medicaid.

• Determine the root causes of claim denials and promptly rectify issues.

• Accurately post insurance payments and resolve discrepancies.

• Clearly explain insurance coverage and patient responsibilities.

• Maintain precise, audit-ready billing records.

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of dental insurance billing, encompassing submission, follow-up, and resolution.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in dental insurance billing.

• Strong understanding of CDT codes and insurance claim processes.

• Preferred experience with Medicaid dental billing.

• Demonstrated ability to minimize denials and effectively manage claim follow-ups.

• Familiarity with billing or practice management software.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accountability.

• Capability to work independently within a structured environment.

• Reliable computer that can support billing systems.
