Originations Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Evaluate applications from potential clients, conducting necessary checks and following up on opportunities that require attention.

• Organize, input, and store documents in Salesforce to analyze the financial status of companies.

• Prioritize incoming requests from partners based on established criteria, including email communication and eligibility verification.

• Assess submissions to identify potential early declines.

• Monitor deal progress by proactively completing due diligence tasks.

• Confirm sales and conduct credit assessments on associated business owners using proprietary data scoring models.

• Draft agreements and validate customer information.

• Collect and consolidate business data from internet searches, credit and bankruptcy reports, and industry resources.

• Assist underwriting and sales teams in a dynamic, collaborative setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• A minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute.

• Preferred experience in administrative or financial positions.

• Advanced computer literacy is essential.

• Ability to thrive in a busy environment while maintaining composure under pressure.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.

• Proficiency in French is advantageous.
