Organic/Inorganic Chemistry Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Engage in discussions with the model regarding chemical synthesis methodologies and theoretical chemistry inquiries.

• Assess the accuracy of facts and the logical integrity of the model's outputs.

• Document reproducible error traces to record instances of model failure.

• Propose enhancements to prompt engineering and evaluation criteria.

• Test advanced language models on topics related to organic and inorganic chemistry.

• Assist in strengthening model reasoning and provide high-quality training data for AI-driven scientific discovery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in reaction mechanisms, coordination chemistry, stereoselective synthesis, catalysis, main group chemistry, ligand design, redox chemistry, crystal field theory, and spectroscopy.

• Knowledgeable in organometallic complexes, cross-coupling reactions, synthetic pathways, metal-ligand interactions, supramolecular assembly, NMR and IR spectral interpretation, and the synthesis and characterization of coordination compounds.

• Capability to verify the factual accuracy and logical soundness of outputs from advanced language models.

• Competence in capturing reproducible error traces and suggesting improvements in prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• A PhD in chemistry or a closely related physical science discipline is preferred.

• Experience with peer-reviewed publications, laboratory synthesis and analysis, or applied chemical design projects indicates suitability.

• Strong metacognitive communication skills and the ability to effectively demonstrate your reasoning process.

• Possession of a secure computer and high-speed internet connection.

• Residency in the Philippines, or the role must be located in the Philippines.
