Oracle PL/SQL Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.

• Create and support screens and modules in Oracle Forms, along with generating reports in Oracle Reports.

• Optimize queries and routines to ensure high performance and data integrity.

• Design and uphold Oracle database structures such as tables, views, and indexes.

• Troubleshoot bugs and manage support requests for legacy systems in production environments.

• Engage in migrations and enhancements of the Oracle environment, including Forms, Reports, and Database.

• Maintain documentation for routines, processes, and system modifications.

• Collaborate with business and infrastructure teams throughout the entire development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in systems development.

• Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Exceptional programming logic and algorithm development abilities.

• Strong expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development, including procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and cursors.

• Advanced understanding of relational database modeling.

• Familiarity with Oracle Forms and Reports.

• Proficient knowledge of Git for source code management and version control.

• Basic understanding of web application development, including back-end development and web services, preferably using Java.

• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or other Oracle-based ERP systems is advantageous.

• Knowledge of Oracle APEX is a plus.

• Experience with scheduled jobs (DBMS_SCHEDULER) and integrations via interfaces/batch processes is beneficial.

• Familiarity with shell scripting and routine automation is a plus.
