Oracle Fusion Finance Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and support Oracle Fusion Cloud Finance solutions encompassing General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Tax, and Financial Reporting.

• Provide leadership in both functional and technical architecture across Oracle Fusion Financials, EPM, EDM, and Tax.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to comprehend requirements and convert business needs into scalable Oracle Cloud solutions.

• Direct application configuration, integrations, reporting, data conversion, extensions, and security decisions.

• Design and manage integrations between Oracle Fusion Finance, EPM, EDM, Tax, other Oracle Fusion applications, and external systems.

• Review functional and technical specifications while guiding development, integration, and implementation teams.

• Lead or assist in CRP, SIT, UAT, deployment, production readiness, and post-production support.

• Analyze and resolve intricate functional and technical challenges.

• Collaborate with enterprise architects, business analysts, developers, integration teams, DBAs, implementation partners, and other stakeholders.

• Establish architecture, integration, development, and governance standards while maintaining technical documentation.

• Contribute to the Oracle Cloud roadmap and assess quarterly updates, new capabilities, and emerging technologies.

• Provide technical and functional guidance, mentorship, and architectural direction.

• Ensure solutions comply with standards for security, scalability, reliability, maintainability, and performance.

• Adhere to safety regulations, engage in pre-task planning, report safety issues, and uphold project quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 10 years of relevant experience; or, alternatively, a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience without a degree.

• Eight years of relevant business, systems development, or enterprise application experience, with considerable Oracle exposure.

• Strong hands-on expertise in implementing, architecting, and supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials across both functional and technical dimensions.

• Experience with Oracle EPM, Enterprise Data Management (EDM), and Tax, including integration with Finance and enterprise business processes.

• Proficient in designing and implementing Oracle Fusion integrations utilizing OIC and other Oracle integration technologies.

• Familiarity with OTBI, BI Publisher, data conversion and migration, security, and Oracle Fusion enterprise architecture.

• Experience leading solutions throughout the entire implementation lifecycle, covering requirements, solution design, testing, deployment, production support, and collaboration with implementation partners and cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of Oracle quarterly updates and their implications.

• Effective communication skills with both business stakeholders and technical teams.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Oracle Fusion Financials certification is advantageous.
