Oracle ERP Fusion Functional Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver L2 incident and problem management support as well as L3 bug-fix and enhancement assistance within the Oracle Fusion ERP environment.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and resolve functional issues in AR, AP, Procurement, and GL.

• Act as the functional liaison for Discord PMs regarding critical incidents, ensuring prompt communication and resolution.

• Generate, review, and update design and functional documentation on a monthly basis.

• Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, along with cyclical finance operations.

• Conduct application testing for bug fixes and minor enhancements.

• Lead and manage the quarterly patch upgrade process from start to finish.

• Present new feature releases and impact assessments to Discord stakeholders before each upgrade cycle.

• Adhere to and support ITGC and SOP requirements in alignment with SOX compliance policies.

• Support Finance stakeholders as a key point of contact on critical system issues while promoting a strong controls environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience as a functional analyst with Oracle Fusion ERP.

• Extensive functional knowledge in AR, AP, GL, and Procurement within the Oracle Fusion cloud.

• Experience in configuring Oracle Fusion module setups, including Subledger Accounting (SLA) rules and BPM approval workflows.

• Proven experience supporting L2/L3 production environments with established incident and problem management processes.

• Demonstrated capability to create and maintain functional design documentation.

• Experience in conducting functional testing for fixes and enhancements.

• Awareness of SOX compliance, ITGC controls, and adherence to SOPs within an ERP framework.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage directly with Finance and business stakeholders.

• Preferred: Oracle Fusion certification in one or more financial modules.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or other integration middleware.

• Preferred: Exposure to Oracle Risk Management Cloud (RMC) or Financial Accounting Hub (FAH).

• Preferred: Understanding of quarterly Oracle Fusion patch upgrade cycles and release management.

• Preferred: Prior experience in an AMS (Application Managed Services) delivery model.
