Oracle EBS DBA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee and provide support for Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2, Oracle databases, WebLogic, and middleware environments.

• Execute patching, cloning, backup and recovery, upgrades and migrations, as well as performance tuning and optimization for Oracle EBS.

• Develop and implement automation solutions utilizing Ansible, Shell scripting, or other contemporary programming languages.

• Manage and sustain multi-node Oracle EBS environments with shared file systems.

• Administer Concurrent Managers, Concurrent Programs, Request Sets, Request Groups, and Oracle Workflow components.

• Diagnose issues related to Workflow Mailer, notifications, and application performance.

• Support disaster recovery and business continuity efforts using RMAN and Data Guard.

• Monitor system health and performance via Oracle Application Manager and Oracle Enterprise Manager.

• Assess and implement Oracle EBS security measures, upgrades, and system enhancements.

• Collaborate with business users and IT teams to deliver effective technology solutions.

• Maintain technical documentation and uphold operational best practices.

• Provide production support and engage in project implementations, including occasional off-hours assistance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Minimum of 4 years experience managing Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.

• At least 4 years of experience with Oracle WebLogic Administration and associated technologies.

• Extensive experience in Oracle EBS patching and cloning.

• Familiarity with Linux environments.

• Proficient in RMAN backup and recovery processes.

• Knowledgeable in Oracle Data Guard.

• Experienced in performance tuning and system monitoring.

• Proficient with automation tools and scripting.

• Security+ certification is mandatory.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Must possess Top Secret clearance.

• Must have work authorization that does not presently or in the future necessitate visa sponsorship for employment in the United States.
