Oracle CPQ Application Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Mentor and act as a technical resource for software engineers at Pierce Washington.

• Oversee the implementation of solutions across all levels of the technology stack.

• Convert business and technical requirements into robust, scalable, and extendable solutions.

• Carry out performance tuning and troubleshoot technical compatibility issues.

• Identify technical risks and design as well as implement error handling and mitigation strategies.

• Enhance best practices for code architecture, unit testing, databases, and technical designs.

• Execute quality assurance on extensive projects, including estimations, design, architecture, and coding.

• Engage in prototyping broader product designs across various modules and projects.

• Recommend and implement third-party libraries and software solutions.

• Ensure the overall performance and scalability of delivered applications and projects.

• Collaborate closely with team members to grasp customer business requirements and develop and deploy eCommerce and CPQ solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in implementing enterprise solutions that support Quote to Cash business processes, including CPQ and eCommerce initiatives.

• Extensive integration experience with a diverse range of tools and technologies, including various CRM and ERP systems.

• Solid understanding of the systems development life cycle, with experience in waterfall, agile, and hybrid methodologies.

• Proficiency in jQuery, HTML, XML, JavaScript, Python, XSLT, XPATH, CSS, HTTP, SOAP, JSON, and relational database concepts & SQL.

• Minimum of seven years of professional experience required.

• Exceptional software development skills.

• Willingness to meet client travel requirements as necessary.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics from an accredited four-year university.

• Previous consulting experience is advantageous.
