This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands, +1 more country.
• Assist with HCM cloud operations throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Conduct a thorough review of the Oracle Cloud HCM system encompassing Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor, Absence Management, and Security.
• Analyze system configurations in relation to Oracle's best practices and industry standards.
• Evaluate payroll and benefits processes, identifying known issues, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• Maintain alignment and engagement with stakeholders for initiatives related to HCM.
• Collaborate with various departments to pinpoint challenges and implement enhancements to processes, systems, and efficiencies.
• Review Payroll configuration, processing, controls, earnings, deductions, tax setup, and compliance.
• Examine payroll reconciliation processes and audit controls.
• Analyze Benefits plan design, eligibility criteria, enrollment processes, and integrations.
• Identify risks, inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for automation.
• Evaluate data integrity, reporting capabilities, data governance, system performance, and data flows.
• Review inbound and outbound integrations with vendors, GL, and benefits carriers.
• Assess Fast Formulas, HDL, HCM Extracts, and reporting tools.
• Analyze metrics and reporting to facilitate process improvements and system optimization.
• Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders from HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT.
• Collect feedback regarding system usability and challenges.
• Offer subject-matter expertise and guidance on best practices.
• Provide a detailed health check report featuring key findings and actionable recommendations.
• At least 15 years of direct experience with Oracle Cloud HCM.
• Proven experience in supporting HCM or HR-related projects, particularly with strong hands-on expertise in Payroll and Benefits.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting system assessments, audits, or health checks.
• Familiarity with full HCM lifecycle implementations and/or post-go-live optimization.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without any restrictions or sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Oracle Cloud certifications (HCM, Payroll, Benefits) are required.
• Experience in multi-state or complex payroll environments.
• Prior consulting experience with system optimization engagements.
• Strong understanding of Payroll processing, tax configuration, compliance requirements, and Benefits configuration, including life event processing and integrations.
• Familiarity with Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, OTBI, BI reporting, and HDL (HCM Data Loader).
• Experience in reviewing integrations and third-party vendor connections.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information effectively.
• Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement and facilitation.
