Oracle Cloud Financials Delivery Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver solution leadership for mid- to large-scale client projects.

• Assist clients throughout all stages of Oracle ERP Cloud implementations.

• Direct implementation teams in both technical and functional delivery of enterprise cloud solutions.

• Facilitate Oracle SaaS requirements workshops, solution architecture, and design conversations.

• Advise clients on cost-efficient Oracle Cloud solutions utilizing industry best practices.

• Create PaaS extensions, develop specifications for custom applications, and integrate these with Oracle Cloud Applications.

• Examine existing systems and data to pinpoint requirements and necessary improvements.

• Lead, mentor, train, and support Oracle Cloud applications teams.

• Align enterprise requirements with various Oracle SaaS applications.

• Tackle product implementation and integration challenges with innovative solutions.

• Formulate and execute long-term strategies for clients.

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, communicating project progress, challenges, and modifications.

• Engage stakeholders in estimations and evaluate the implications of strategic business changes.

• Assist business partners in demonstrating the value of solutions to key stakeholders.

• Collaborate with third-party vendors and negotiate contracts and agreements.

• Present business cases and quantify the benefits of proposed solutions.

• Monitor the performance of implemented solutions and recommend updates, upgrades, or changes.

• Contribute to the growth and development of the consulting practice.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, etc.

• MBA, relevant master's degree, or PhD.

• At least 10 years of experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant, with over 3 years in solution design for ERP cloud implementations.

• Expert-level experience as an Oracle Cloud Architect involved in implementing or supporting Oracle Cloud projects and upgrades.

• Familiarity with Oracle Platform as a Service (PaaS), particularly Integration Cloud Service and Database Cloud Service.

• Knowledge and experience with Web Services, including Oracle Cloud's SOAP and REST Web Services.

• Exceptional consulting and business analytical skills for requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, business process design, conference room pilots, functional configuration, and ERP solution testing.

• Experience in working with cross-border and diverse teams on various projects.

• Understanding of corporate month-end close, consolidation, planning, forecasting, or management reporting needs.

• Expert-level experience with one or more Oracle Cloud Applications: Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle Project Portfolio Management Cloud, Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud, Oracle Manufacturing Cloud, or Oracle EPM Cloud.

• Demonstrated experience in guiding clients through business process enhancements.

• Accounting experience that includes chart of accounts redesign, financial reporting, MultiOrg, and multi-currency.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication skills.

• Ability to draft functional specifications based on user requirements.

• Capability to manage client expectations independently at a senior level.

• Professional demeanor when interacting with both internal and external customers.

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Preferred experience in consulting within a similar professional services or strategic industry role.

• Prior experience in IT companies.

• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant technologies and systems.

• Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication.

• Outstanding complex project management abilities.

• Skills in business development for client acquisition and relationship growth.

• Ability to mentor and coach junior and mid-level consultants.

• Skill in effectively interacting with senior client executives.
