Investment Banking Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Facilitate comprehensive execution of client transactions, encompassing mergers and acquisitions (M&A) alongside capital-raising endeavors.

• Engage in M&A transactions, precedent deals, private placements, and fundraising efforts by preparing financial analyses, transaction summaries, and supporting documents such as comparable trading multiples.

• Create sell-side pitch materials to support client mandates, emphasizing strategic opportunities and value propositions for potential investors and buyers.

• Develop slides and assist senior team members in crafting high-quality presentation materials for client meetings.

• Conduct thorough industry, market, and product research to keep abreast of current events, valuation trends, key financial metrics, and competitive landscapes.

• Collect financial data, perform detailed analyses, and assist in the execution of M&A transactions, IPOs, private equity settlements, and other advisory services.

• Aid senior bankers in business development efforts by preparing background materials and identifying potential opportunities for client engagement and pipeline expansion.

• Facilitate communication among clients, advisory teams, and internal stakeholders.

• Assist senior bankers in managing timelines, deliverables, and high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, accounting, or valuation.

• Previous exposure to M&A transactions or relevant internship experience is highly desirable.

• Strong financial modeling capabilities in Excel.

• Proficient in PowerPoint for developing client-facing materials.

• Familiarity with financial databases and research tools (e.g., Capital IQ, PitchBook) is an advantage.

• Fluent/advanced English language skills are required (both written and verbal).

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective project and time management capabilities.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Strong client service orientation and teamwork mentality.

• CFA Level I candidate or higher (preferred but not mandatory).
