Associate, Investment Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate client-suggested investments across various impact themes, asset classes, sectors, geographies, and structures to determine their suitability.

• Ensure adherence to internal protocols and regulations.

• Communicate liquidity requirements for client accounts across different departments.

• Oversee the execution of investment documents and facilitate fund transfers.

• Utilize pipeline management tools to organize workflow and tasks effectively.

• Assist with investment data entry across multiple investment management systems.

• Develop loan schedules.

• Assist or lead significant projects.

• Identify and apply process enhancements.

• Facilitate cross-departmental initiatives to enhance the experience for impact investing clients.

• Report directly to the Senior Officer in Investment Operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, data science, investment operations, financial services, or investment management.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Familiarity with impact investing and/or private market investing across various asset classes and investment types, donor advised funds, and broader financial services.

• Proven commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to identify and implement process enhancements.

• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and a professional demeanor.

• Capability to work independently and prioritize competing demands effectively.

• Resourceful in finding answers to inquiries and creating solutions.

• Previous experience with investment management systems and ticket management systems is a plus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams, is required.

• Familiarity with cloud-based collaboration tools such as Box and Asana is preferred.

• Previous experience in a remote work environment is preferred.

• Must be available to work during East Coast business hours.

• Willingness to travel 1–2 times per year for company events is required.
