This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
β’ Deliver direct patient care by supporting clinicians during diagnostic and treatment-related procedures.
β’ Conduct patient intake and perform ophthalmic assessments, which include strabismus measurement, extraocular rotation examinations, sensory evaluations, pupil assessments, visual acuity testing, tonometry, lensometry, color vision assessments, and visual field examinations.
β’ Organize and maintain examination rooms, along with necessary equipment and supplies.
β’ Accompany patients to their examination rooms.
β’ Fill out school forms and other miscellaneous documentation.
β’ Provide independent support to clinicians and the clinic for the Ophthalmology department.
β’ High school diploma or its equivalent.
β’ No specific prior experience required.
β’ Preferred: Certification as an Ophthalmic Assistant.
β’ Additional compensation may be available, including shift differentials, on-call pay, or weekend differentials.
