Operations System Engineer – Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main technical link between the Marketing team and Enterprise IT.

• Convert business needs into scalable and secure technical solutions.

• Design, construct, and uphold back-end services, APIs, and automated systems.

• Develop and maintain secure middleware and backend-for-frontend (BFF) services.

• Integrate digital platforms with DaVita enterprise systems, including Fuse and internal APIs.

• Assist in managing cloud database migrations and modernizing architecture.

• Design, implement, and oversee integrations with Salesforce for marketing automation, lead routing, and CRM projects.

• Support database interactions and data management in Microsoft SQL Server and Google Cloud SQL.

• Enhance application security, ensure risk compliance, and improve back-end performance.

• Offer technical leadership and mentorship.

• Participate in technical architecture decisions, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and shared engineering standards.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant technical field is preferred (or equivalent professional experience).

• Over 7 years of professional software development experience with a focus on back-end engineering, middleware, and systems integration.

• Extensive technical expertise in building Node.js middleware and API integration layers.

• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery and Cloud SQL.

• Advanced skills in SQL database design, querying, management, and executing cloud database migrations.

• Thorough understanding of the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Familiarity with OWASP best practices.

• Experience in Salesforce integrations.

• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server.

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Experience in CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and technical architecture.
