Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Diagnose and address hardware issues with JOLT EV charging stations utilizing electrical and systems expertise.

• Oversee asset performance and conduct remote troubleshooting of faults using key operating systems.

• Administer maintenance activities for EVs, including generating work orders, coordinating with third-party maintenance contractors, monitoring job completion, and ensuring timely servicing.

• Act as the primary escalation point for customer service inquiries and tickets.

• Address customer complaints and questions regarding EV charging stations.

• Carry out pre-commissioning tasks and perform commissioning checks prior to chargers becoming operational.

• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to verify that units are adequately stocked and adhere to installation specifications.

• Assess unit functionality and inspect for damages during delivery.

• Enhance operating procedures and processes to elevate installation and user experience.

• Leverage AI to automate and optimize operational processes.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to boost operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical or engineering discipline.

• 1–3 years of experience with electrical or technical hardware systems.

• Demonstrated product support experience with remote troubleshooting capabilities.

• Knowledge of EV systems is a plus.

• Proficient in using AI tools such as Claude for troubleshooting research, documentation, reporting, and process enhancement.

• Strong communication skills.

• Capability to manage contractors effectively.

• Skilled in interpreting technical O&M manuals.

• Ability to self-learn and operate independently as well as collaboratively under pressure.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Enthusiasm for green energy and the electrification of transport.
