Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Honduras, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Clean, structure, and validate data related to suppliers, products, and quantities utilizing Excel.

• Utilize VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, pivot tables, and conditional formulas.

• Conduct sanity checks on datasets to identify missing values, inconsistent formatting, and errors.

• Develop formula-driven, replicable models that do not incorporate hard-coded values.

• Onboard validated customer information onto the client's deployment platform.

• Reach out to US-based suppliers who have not engaged on the platform.

• Create and continuously enhance a consistent daily outreach script.

• Monitor supplier response statuses and escalate persistently to avoid dormant accounts.

• Coordinate outreach priorities with the deployment team via Slack.

• Maintain and update supplier and product records throughout active sourcing events.

• Assist in the comprehensive deployment of sourcing events for enterprise clients.

• Identify process gaps and propose operational enhancements.

• Assume increased account ownership as tenure and performance evolve.

• Manage a client account from start to finish within 90 days.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2+ years of practical experience with Microsoft Excel in a professional setting, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, and IF formulas.

• Proficient in cleaning, normalizing, and validating datasets using formula-based techniques without reliance on hard-coded values.

• Experience in performing data quality checks and comparing extracted information against source documents.

• Skilled in building structured, replicable Excel models.

• Professional experience conducting outbound calls to US-based suppliers, vendors, or business contacts.

• Proficient in spoken and written English at a C1+ level (CEFR).

• Residing in LATAM and available to work within one hour of US Eastern Time.

• Nice to have: 1–2 years of experience in management consulting or a boutique advisory firm.

• Nice to have: background in procurement or supply chain management.

• Nice to have: familiarity with Python for data manipulation or automation.

• Nice to have: exposure to e-procurement or sourcing platforms.
