Operations Solution Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Evaluate comprehensive warehouse and supply chain processes, such as receiving, put-away, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, dispatch, returns, and inventory movements.

• Offer functional expertise in Advanced Warehouse Management and assist in the design, configuration, and enhancement of warehouse management solutions.

• Engage extensively with MRP processes, encompassing material planning, demand and supply alignment, procurement needs, production planning, and replenishment.

• Oversee and refine Inventory Management processes to boost stock accuracy, availability, utilization, and working capital.

• Collect, document, and analyze business requirements from operations, supply chain, warehouse, procurement, manufacturing, and other business teams.

• Convert business requirements into functional specifications, process flows, solution designs, and system requirements.

• Identify discrepancies between current processes and targeted business outcomes, recommending practical technology-enabled solutions.

• Collaborate with technical teams, product teams, implementation partners, and vendors throughout solution design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

• Assist in system configuration, functional testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and production implementation.

• Examine operational data and system performance to pinpoint bottlenecks, inefficiencies, inventory discrepancies, and areas for process improvement.

• Create and maintain functional documentation, SOPs, process maps, requirement documents, and solution specifications.

• Aid in root-cause analysis of operational and system issues and coordinate with relevant teams for prompt resolution.

• Take part in process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and supply chain operations.

• Ensure that proposed solutions align with business objectives, operational requirements, scalability, and industry best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–12 years of pertinent professional experience in operations, supply chain, warehouse management, business analysis, or enterprise solutions.

• Practical experience with warehouse management and inventory processes.

• Strong familiarity with MRP and material planning processes.

• Proven experience in translating operational requirements into functional and technology solutions.

• Advanced Warehouse Management knowledge.

• MRP (Material Requirements Planning) expertise.

• Proficient in Inventory Management.

• Solid understanding of warehouse and supply chain processes.

• Experience in business process analysis and solution design.

• Proficient in requirements gathering and functional documentation.

• Familiarity with ERP/WMS environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with system implementation, testing, and process optimization.

• Excellent stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

• A degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
