Operations Representative – Temporary Coverage

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist with a range of back-office processing tasks across various desks, including ACH, Wires, Check 21, Fiduciary Servicing, Legal Processing, Overdraft Solutions, Unclaimed Property, or Mobile/ATM Deposits.

• Accurately and promptly process member transactions, maintenance requests, and operational workflows while ensuring compliance.

• Manage daily work queues in accordance with established service level agreements.

• Execute account updates, corrections, and verification procedures in line with policy and regulatory standards.

• Examine documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance while ensuring audit-ready documentation and precise electronic records are maintained.

• Conduct exception processing and research to address discrepancies, escalating any irregularities or potential risks as needed.

• Identify and recommend enhancements to tasks, workflows, accuracy, efficiency, or clarity.

• Communicate challenges, recurring issues, or trends to facilitate ongoing improvement.

• Follow up with members regarding account modifications or oversights, offer clarifications, and secure necessary approvals.

• Adhere to federal/state regulations and internal protocols while safeguarding sensitive member information with strict confidentiality.

• Engage in cross-training to provide support across multiple desks.

• Foster a consistent, collaborative, and service-oriented atmosphere.

• Carry out other assigned responsibilities as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a full-service financial institution or a similar role in an associated field is preferred.

• Comprehensive understanding of Credit Union products and services, procedures and guidelines, as well as field of membership criteria.

• Strong knowledge of regulations pertinent to essential duties.

• Excellent communication abilities across all levels of the audience.

• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Familiarity with Symitar for Windows (Episys) is preferred.
