Operations Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily management of specific projects to guarantee timely completion and cost-efficient outcomes.

• Represent construction and engineering insights during OEM and contractor meetings, site inspections, and technology evaluations.

• Direct E&C involvement in Technology Review, capital budgeting, project scheduling, and Preliminary Engineering stages.

• Maintain a Risk Register that monitors scope, schedule, cost, and constructability challenges.

• Collaborate with Integrated Supply Chain on procurement assistance, including RFQ contributions, commercial and technical review, and bid assessments.

• Supervise bid evaluation processes and conduct cost comparison analyses between E&C estimates and contractor submissions.

• Spearhead the creation of schedules, cost benchmarks, cash flow models, and risk-adjusted cost positioning for project approval decisions.

• Facilitate enhancements in E&C project development workflows and incorporate project data and risk monitoring into project management systems.

• Report directly to the program manager as an individual contributor.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience in energy project development or large-scale capital construction.

• Proficiency in EPC/EPCM project delivery, cost estimation, schedule formulation, and project risk management for gas generation initiatives.

• Experience in the procurement of major equipment and EPC/EPCM contracts, including bid preparation, evaluation, negotiation, and awarding.

• Candidates must comply with applicable United States and equivalent country export control regulations.
