This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Assess operational plans for precision, feasibility, and alignment with business objectives.
• Analyze workflows, resource needs, constraints, and operational premises.
• Identify bottlenecks, unrealistic assumptions, execution risks, analytical inaccuracies, and discrepancies.
• Evaluate inventory strategies, stock-level recommendations, replenishment plans, demand forecasts, lead times, safety stock levels, and service standards.
• Assess capacity needs, utilization assumptions, workload predictions, capacity limitations, and resource distribution.
• Review demand projections, resource planning assumptions, scenario evaluations, and sensitivity assessments.
• Analyze spreadsheets, calculations, forecasts, operational metrics, quantitative analyses, and operational models.
• Examine workflow efficiency, throughput, utilization, operational performance, KPIs, and suggestions for process improvements.
• Review operational documents, spreadsheets, planning materials, slide presentations, stakeholder reports, charts, tables, and visuals.
• Evaluate assigned outputs against domain-specific quality standards.
• Offer clear, structured written feedback highlighting strengths and weaknesses.
• Consistently apply evaluation criteria across operational deliverables.
• Over 5 years of relevant professional experience in operations planning, inventory management, capacity planning, supply chain, logistics, or a closely related area.
• Strong practical experience in inventory and capacity planning.
• Solid understanding of demand forecasting, resource planning, utilization, and operational constraints.
• Capability to assess trade-offs among inventory, capacity, cost, service levels, and execution.
• Experience in developing or reviewing operational plans, forecasts, models, and performance evaluations.
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Advanced expertise in PowerPoint / Google Slides.
• Strong skills in spreadsheet and quantitative analysis.
• Native or professional fluency in English.
• Excellent written communication skills and the ability to provide clear, structured feedback.
• Strong attention to detail in analytical, operational, and presentation aspects.
• H1-B and STEM OPT support is not available for this position.
• Part-time independent contractor role.
• Fully remote work environment.
• Flexible scheduling according to project demands.
• Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on project requirements and performance.
