Operations Manager – Operational Excellence, Business Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily business operations to guarantee efficiency, quality, and operational excellence.

• Formulate and execute strategies aimed at enhancing productivity and minimizing operational expenses.

• Manage interdisciplinary teams while promoting accountability, collaboration, and ongoing improvement.

• Track operational KPIs and leverage data to inform decision-making.

• Recognize opportunities for process enhancements utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and automation initiatives.

• Administer budgets, resource allocation, and operational planning.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory obligations.

• Spearhead change management initiatives and assist in organizational growth.

• Partner with executive leadership to synchronize operational strategies with business goals.

• Deploy technology solutions that enhance operational performance and customer experience.

• Complete a One-Way Video Interview as the subsequent step in the hiring process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Operations Management.

• Proven track record of leadership in managing cross-functional teams.

• Experience in Process Improvement and Operational Excellence, including Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.

• Proficient in managing KPIs, SLAs, productivity, quality, and overall operational performance.

• Background in Project Management and Change Management.

• Strong analytical abilities with a focus on data-driven decision making, utilizing tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.

• Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems including SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Odoo, or Salesforce.

• Experience in budget management, resource planning, and cost optimization.

• Demonstrated measurable achievements and impact on business outcomes.

• Proficient in English (B2+ level preferred).

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Possession of Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or similar certifications.

• Experience leading teams of 20 or more employees.

• Background in multinational or fast-growing organizations.

• Experience with digital transformation or automation projects.

• Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or Claude.
