Operations Manager – Operational Excellence, Business Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily business operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and operational excellence.

• Create and execute strategies aimed at enhancing productivity and minimizing operational expenses.

• Lead cross-functional teams while promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Track operational KPIs and leverage data to inform decision-making processes.

• Discover opportunities for process enhancements through Lean, Six Sigma, and automation initiatives.

• Oversee budgets, resource distribution, and operational planning.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Spearhead change management initiatives and facilitate organizational growth.

• Work in partnership with executive leadership to align operational strategies with business goals.

• Deploy technology solutions that enhance operational performance and improve customer experience.

• Complete a One-Way Video Interview as the subsequent step in the hiring process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations Management.

• Demonstrated leadership skills in managing cross-functional teams.

• Expertise in Process Improvement & Operational Excellence (Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement).

• Experience in managing KPIs, SLAs, productivity metrics, quality, and operational performance.

• Background in Project Management and Change Management.

• Strong analytical abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making (Excel, Power BI, Tableau).

• Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Odoo, Salesforce, etc.).

• Experience in budget management, resource planning, and cost optimization.

• Proven track record of measurable achievements and business impact.

• Proficient in professional English (B2+ preferred).

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Experience leading teams of over 20 employees (bonus).

• Possession of Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or similar certifications (bonus).

• Experience in multinational or rapidly growing organizations (bonus).

• Involvement in digital transformation or automation projects (bonus).

• Familiarity with AI productivity tools (ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude) (bonus).
