This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure that essential medical record retrieval tasks are executed consistently, promptly, and with professionalism.
• Organize operational endeavors aligned with both regional and company-wide cultural and operational objectives.
• Lead a team of release-of-information specialists to attain operational and profitability targets.
• Establish performance parameters and guidelines.
• Recruit and retain talent; offer direction, accountability, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Uphold coverage arrangements and time-and-attendance standards.
• Collaborate with domestic and global teams to maintain turnaround time and quality benchmarks.
• Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure completion of required training.
• Oversee client implementations and manage customized projects.
• Coordinate communications, reports, presentations, and follow-ups with clients and internal leadership.
• Maintain process instructions and facilitate client-specific associate training.
• Partner with Solutions and IT to resolve connectivity issues.
• Analyze and enhance financial performance, including revenue, expenses, profits, and margins.
• Strengthen client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Director of Operations and other leaders to implement processes that support member experience and performance quality.
• A Bachelor’s degree and relevant prior experience are preferred.
• Highly team-oriented.
• Required high proficiency in Microsoft products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment while effectively prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and strong negotiation abilities.
• Detail-oriented with robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to manage confidential materials and information with professionalism.
• Availability to travel as necessary, potentially extensively, including overnight stays.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Physical capability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Sufficient speaking and hearing ability to communicate effectively.
• Necessary eye/hand coordination, hearing, and visual acuity for daily tasks.
• Maintain the privacy of patients, employees, and volunteers, accessing information only on a need-to-know basis.
• Adhere to corporate integrity and security regulations.
• Report any unethical, fraudulent, or unlawful behavior.
• Maintain current and annual HIPAA certification.
