Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Build and enhance partnerships with pharmaceutical companies and CROs to facilitate swift study initiation.

• Supervise deliverables for a selection of pharmaceutical clients, emphasizing quality and timely execution.

• Oversee the daily implementation of studies within the TIME network from initiation to conclusion.

• Ensure client satisfaction and promote the ongoing growth of Tempus business.

• Utilize expertise in clinical trial development and study initiation to prepare a portfolio of trials for the network of sites.

• Contribute to the development of innovative strategies, processes, tools, and systems to expedite cancer clinical trials.

• Collaborate with teams in site operations, medical affairs, pathology, bioinformatics, and data science.

• Recognize potential risks associated with assigned studies and collaborate with both internal and external partners to address challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Occasional travel may be necessary, depending on the project.

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience dealing with complex clinical trials from a site, sponsor, or CRO viewpoint.

• In-depth knowledge of FDA regulations, GCP, study initiation, clinical trial agreements, trial budgets, IRB submissions, and pharmaceutical operations.

• A collaborative team player.

• Outstanding customer service abilities along with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrated history of establishing and meeting high personal performance standards.

• Highly organized and systematic, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks accurately while focusing on process enhancement.

• Flexible and adaptable; capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with rapid site activation is desirable.

• Familiarity with research networks is preferred.

• Background in clinical research project management is advantageous.
