Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage daily operational activities to guarantee precise, prompt, and compliant execution.

• Serve as the primary escalation point for operational challenges, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.

• Keep functional documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures current.

• Ensure adherence to internal policies, industry standards, and quality benchmarks.

• Track functional KPIs and generate performance and risk reports for leadership review.

• Lead small to medium-sized process enhancement projects, including automation or workflow reengineering.

• Collaborate with team members in related functions to facilitate seamless end-to-end operational delivery.

• Offer subject-matter expertise to stakeholders and assist with audits or compliance evaluations.

• Act as the subject-matter expert for the designated operational function.

• Promote continuous improvement to achieve quality, compliance, and efficiency objectives.

• This role does not involve direct management of staff.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• An advanced degree may be necessary.

• A minimum of 5 years of directly relevant experience.

• Professional certifications may be required for this position.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills, relationship-building capabilities, and teamwork abilities.

• Self-motivated and proactive individual.

• Capacity to manage multiple tasks, respond promptly to urgent issues, and balance long-term projects with immediate responsibilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
