This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Oversee the execution of the Research Foundation's strategic plan and annual objectives.
• Monitor progress against goals and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing updates to Board leadership.
• Organize and manage governance activities that support the Board of Trustees and its committees.
• Prepare for Board meetings and assist with succession planning initiatives.
• Direct the annual nomination and selection process for the Vertin Award.
• Create and sustain tools for project tracking, reporting systems, and operational processes.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among the Research Foundation, RPC, and CFA Institute stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Research Directors on research and publication pipelines, priorities, and agenda setting.
• Monitor projects throughout the development, review, and publication stages.
• Lead initiatives for content promotion and manage contractor relationships.
• Engage with CFA societies to enhance awareness of Research Foundation content.
• Oversee operational priorities, dependencies, timelines, and potential risks.
• Identify issues and propose improvements to existing processes.
• Proven experience in leading or supporting governance bodies, boards, committees, or executive leadership teams.
• Strong knowledge of governance practices, budgeting, and the operations of nonprofits or associations.
• Experience managing complex projects and operational initiatives.
• Exceptional strategic planning and organizational abilities, capable of handling multiple competing priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate trusted relationships with stakeholders and facilitate cross-functional collaboration within matrixed organizations.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Proficient in workflow management and project tracking tools.
• Familiarity with the investment industry, CFA Institute, and/or CFA societies is preferred.
• Experience collaborating closely with Board leadership as a strategic partner.
• Background in nonprofit, foundation, association, or membership-based organizations.
• Experience in promoting or marketing programs, and managing relations with external vendors, contractors, or agencies.
• Knowledge of investment research, publishing, or thought leadership organizations.
• Advanced project management certification or training related to governance.
