Operations Excellence Manager – W&L, 3PL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Drive continuous improvement projects, Kaizen events, and value stream mapping to remove inefficiencies and boost productivity, quality, and speed across facilities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate new 3PL customer launches, facility openings, and operational expansions throughout North America.

• Develop, track, and enhance standardized KPIs and leadership standard work that align with strategic and financial objectives.

• Guide and mentor site leaders, operational teams, and emerging practitioners in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and systematic problem-solving.

• Work closely with key external clients and site leadership.

• Integrate Lean principles and improve process workflows throughout the third-party logistics network.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in warehousing, fulfillment, distribution center operations, supply chain, or third-party logistics (3PL).

• In-depth understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles, value stream mapping, Kaizen facilitation, and process redesign methods.

• Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or PMP certification is preferred.

• Proven track record in supporting operations launch, facility startups, and initiatives that involve direct customer interactions.

• Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to relate operational enhancements to business results.

• Willingness to travel 50–75% of the time.
