Operations Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Provide assistance to enterprise clients concerning the technical and functional features of the products.

• Collaborate with Product Implementation and Development teams to deploy, configure, and resolve issues.

• Aid Product and Development teams with performance and functional analysis and testing during release cycles.

• Create and maintain automation scripts for routine tasks.

• Conduct regular upgrades, migrations, code fixes, and hot-fix deployments.

• Facilitate online troubleshooting and investigation sessions within customers’ production environments.

• Gather necessary problem details and lead effective root-cause analysis until resolution.

• Provide a responsive customer experience and manage escalations as necessary.

• Reproduce customer issues in controlled testing environments.

• Develop custom utilities and workarounds to address critical customer issues.

• Offer mentorship and task guidance to other team members.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Development, Sustaining Engineering, and Sales Engineering teams to resolve support issues, document bugs, conduct UAT on product builds, and ensure successful server installations and upgrades.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a master’s in computer science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• 3 years of progressive experience in product support, preferably within the healthcare industry.

• 3 years of experience in reading and writing relational database queries using T-SQL or ANSI-SQL.

• 3 years of practical experience in developing or supporting applications using Jscript, Java, C#, VB.Net, or Groovy.

• 2 years of experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and EDI systems, along with knowledge of HIPAA.

• 2 years or more of experience working with RDBMS, web applications, Tomcat, APIs, and MFT.

• 2 years of experience in modifying and supporting code or scripting development for automation.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and technologies, such as AWS and Kubernetes.

• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.

• Willingness to work in shifts.
