This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist the COO in managing a diverse portfolio that includes programs, network engagement, research, policy, and operations.
• Monitor commitments, deadlines, follow-ups, workstream statuses, responsible parties, and potential risks.
• Provide support for the COO’s calendar and correspondence, resolving any scheduling conflicts that arise.
• Create briefing materials, agendas, follow-up summaries, talking points, and briefing memos.
• Document, monitor, and distribute decisions and action items from meetings.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion.
• Draft and manage internal and external communications on behalf of the COO.
• Maintain project and stakeholder records using Asana and other relevant systems.
• Translate priorities into actionable tasks, timelines, and designated owners.
• Track program and departmental progress, assisting in coordinating issue resolution.
• Contribute to special projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Prepare regular status updates for the COO regarding the portfolio.
• Coordinate the COO’s interactions with partners, affiliates, and stakeholders.
• Conduct research and synthesize information on topics related to financial security, community development, and economic mobility policy.
• Monitor pertinent policy and sector developments, flagging relevant items for the COO.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience, including roles in administration, coordination, or project support.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Asana or similar project management tools, with experience in tracking multiple workstreams.
• Comfortable using AI tools for drafting, summarizing, researching, and enhancing routine tasks, with the discernment to review and refine outputs.
• Exceptional writing and synthesis capabilities.
• Strong judgment in managing sensitive and confidential information.
• Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines until completion.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in building and nurturing relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Proficient in standard business tools and systems, including Microsoft Office, Asana, and Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
