Operations Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +31 more states.

📋 Description

• Monitor all students awaiting tutoring, starting with those referred by partner organizations.

• Investigate reasons for unpaired students and address any pairing challenges.

• Communicate with families and tutors via phone, email, and text to facilitate the initiation of tutoring pairings.

• Utilize tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and others to draft communications, organize spreadsheets, identify trends, and create small tools.

• Recognize process-related issues and communicate them to the Operations team for resolution.

• Collaborate with and report to the Learn To Be Operations team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in classes as part of a SNHU degree program.

• Work-study included in financial aid package.

• Preference may be given to students with work-study eligibility.

• Availability to work 15–20 hours per week, consistently and reliably, including during midterms and finals.

• Experience with AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude for practical applications.

• Strong, friendly written communication skills and comfort in making phone calls to parents and volunteers.

• Agreement to undergo a DOJ Dru Sjodin Sex Offender Database Background check.

• Access to a device with internet connectivity and a functioning webcam.
