This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Create analyses, insights, and recommendations to support strategic planning, operational decision-making, and performance enhancement within Individual Dental Operations.
• Track and assess operational, customer, financial, and KPI data to uncover trends, risks, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Perform root cause analyses for operational challenges and performance discrepancies.
• Convert complex analytical results into actionable recommendations for leaders and stakeholders.
• Oversee the development, maintenance, and optimization of operational reports, dashboards, scorecards, and analytical tools.
• Define reporting needs, performance indicators, data requirements, and audience expectations in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Detect duplication, manual labor, reporting gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for automation.
• Design, create, and implement automated reporting, analytical, and workflow solutions utilizing approved enterprise tools.
• Utilize Microsoft applications, Excel, Power Platform, Alteryx, Tableau, and other analytics or automation platforms.
• Incorporate documentation, testing, validation, exception handling, and controls into automated solutions.
• Identify and assess responsible artificial intelligence and generative AI use cases.
• Set expectations for human review and validation of AI-generated outputs.
• Assist in the development, documentation, measurement, and monitoring of KPIs.
• Create vendor performance reports and evaluate contractual, service-level, operational, and customer experience metrics.
• Implement controls for reporting accuracy, completeness, consistency, and traceability.
• Validate reporting outputs and analytical results prior to distribution.
• Identify data quality issues, discrepancies, and control deficiencies, coordinating remediation efforts.
• Lead or assist in continuous improvement initiatives that involve workflow redesign, standardization, scalability, and modernization.
• Provide analytical assistance for strategic initiatives, business transitions, operational planning, and enterprise projects.
• Collaborate with Operations, Reporting, Technology, Finance, Vendor Management, Product, Compliance, and other departments.
• Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in operational analytics, reporting, performance measurement, automation, and workflow improvement.
• Effectively communicate technical and analytical concepts to operational leaders, process owners, and non-technical stakeholders.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and sustainable ownership of analytical and automated solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, Operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in healthcare analytics, business analytics, operational reporting, performance management, or a related area.
• Proven experience in developing and managing performance reports, dashboards, scorecards, key performance indicators, and operational analyses.
• Capability to analyze complex data, discern significant trends, conduct root cause analyses, and translate findings into actionable business suggestions.
• Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements for reporting, analytics, process improvement, or automation solutions.
• Experience in enhancing workflows, recurring reporting processes, or other operational tasks through process redesign, standardization, or automation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with experience in reporting, data visualization, analytics, or automation tools.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, including assessing data quality, challenging unsupported conclusions, and recognizing analytical limitations.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the capability to manage multiple workstreams, dependencies, and evolving business priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the aptitude to convey analytical findings to business stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and influence outcomes without direct authority.
• Competence in documenting complex analytical processes, business rules, reporting logic, assumptions, and controls in a clear and sustainable manner.
• If working remotely, an internet connection must be secured through a cable broadband or fiber optic provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
• Preferred: Experience with Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, Microsoft Power Platform, or similar tools.
• Preferred: Background in customer operations, contact center operations, healthcare operations, dental benefits, or another regulated service environment.
• Preferred: Experience utilizing artificial intelligence or generative AI tools.
• Preferred: Background in vendor oversight, service-level reporting, or vendor performance management.
• Preferred: Knowledge of operational risk, regulatory requirements, business controls, data governance, privacy, or compliance practices.
• Preferred: Experience supporting business transitions, operating model implementation, operational stabilization, or enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Preferred: Experience in developing executive-level dashboards, decision-support materials, or performance narratives.
• Capability to work remotely, subject to having cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with a minimum of 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
