Operations Analyst – Expansion

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Become a member of the Operations team, dedicated to growing the network of recycling operators.

• Identify, engage, and incorporate new partners into the platform.

• Negotiate terms, volumes, and pricing with suppliers.

• Map out cooperatives and operators by state.

• Evaluate commercial eligibility and initiate outreach to prospective operators.

• Conduct technical visits to showcase Polen and forge new partnerships.

• Draft contracts to formalize newly established partnerships.

• Negotiate purchase volumes, pricing, and terms effectively.

• Procure recyclable materials through the Polen Materiais network.

• Maintain consistent communication to identify needs and enhance partnerships.

• Address operational challenges and unresolved issues.

• Serve as a liaison between operators and internal teams, conveying feedback to enhance the platform.

• Organize data and reports to track the growth of the operator base.

• Continuously expand the network by leading negotiations and sustaining business margins.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in supplier management, sales, or business development, with a focus on high-volume proactive outreach via phone, WhatsApp, and video presentations.

• Knowledge of, or a keen interest in, the recycling and reverse logistics value chain.

• Proven negotiation abilities demonstrated in previous roles.

• Attention to detail in tracking and documenting the full negotiation process in line with internal protocols.

• Effective and persuasive communication skills, capable of building rapport with a diverse range of audiences.

• Strong organizational capabilities and adeptness in problem-solving.

• Familiarity with procurement and relationship management software.

• Willingness to travel and conduct face-to-face visits with operators.

• Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to the team and its partners.

• Previous experience in reverse logistics and managing relationships with operators in the recycling value chain is advantageous.

• Knowledge of CRM systems, particularly HubSpot, is a benefit.
