This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Oversee a portfolio of contracts and projects to achieve performance objectives, ensure compliance, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Provide governance for the portfolio and keep the Operational VP updated on risks and challenges.
• Direct recovery action initiatives and manage the initiation, expansion, transition, and closure of contracts.
• Act as the primary contact for Operational Excellence in relation to projects.
• Supervise and assist 10 Operational Excellence Managers in fulfilling quality and performance standards.
• Monitor portfolio performance and governance.
• Aid in monthly business reporting and the execution of performance measurement processes and tools.
• Offer guidance and training on performance metrics and management practices.
• Manage operational risks and related issues.
• Assist projects in achieving quality goals and enhancements.
• Ensure the completion of 10% case file reviews on a monthly basis.
• Implement quality reporting processes and tools; perform quality reviews, audits, assessments, and data analysis.
• Mentor and coach regional teams to promote ongoing learning and operational excellence.
• Support the creation and delivery of operational training programs.
• Assess training effectiveness and maintain training records, reports, and analytics.
• Conduct training needs assessments and identify gaps in technical capabilities.
• Lead or assist in project initiation, expansion, and closure activities.
• Develop and execute turnaround strategies for underperforming projects.
• Provide targeted training and assistance to address root causes and delivery challenges.
• Collaborate with operations and support departments to convert operational requirements into actionable solutions.
• Assist the Operational VP and Op Ex Director in ensuring delivery continuity and consistency.
• Partner with VPs, Regional Directors, and Project Directors to identify challenges and collaboratively design improvement strategies.
• Engage in the development and adoption of Operational Excellence tools and products.
• Participate in and contribute to enterprise Operational Excellence meetings.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, Organizational Development, or related experience and education showcasing applied skills.
• 3–5 years of experience in operational training and development, process improvement, and frameworks that support operational excellence principles and standards.
• Expertise in data analysis, reporting, and making recommendations for continuous improvement and action planning.
• Experience in operational training design and delivery methodologies, including principles of adult learning.
• Capability to influence through innovative thinking and serve as a thought leader.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and engage with senior leaders.
• Proven adaptability to change and willingness to learn new tools or software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
