OpenShift Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee Red Hat OpenShift clusters within on-premises data center settings.

• Transition and enhance applications from conventional on-premises infrastructure to containerized OpenShift platforms.

• Manage the connectivity and integration between OpenShift environments and enterprise on-premises systems, databases, and services.

• Provide support for platform architecture, capacity planning, and disaster recovery strategies for both on-premises and hybrid deployments.

• Participate in a contract that supports a federal government client and plays a crucial role in their mission.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

• Practical experience in administering and supporting Red Hat OpenShift in on-premises settings.

• Background in supporting enterprise infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies within on-premises environments.

• Experience in integrating container platforms with on-premises enterprise services and databases.

• Proven experience in designing and supporting large-scale on-premises OpenShift deployments.

• Familiarity with hybrid cloud architectures that connect on-premises data centers to AWS, Azure, or other cloud service providers.

• Knowledge of enterprise storage, networking, and disaster recovery solutions that support OpenShift environments.

• Must be a US Citizen.

• Willingness and eligibility to obtain a Public Trust is required.
