This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Design, architect, and create a multi-tenant OpenShift cluster on bare metal.
• Configure and sustain the OpenShift platform to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
• Define and execute networking, storage, ingress, monitoring, and logging strategies.
• Develop architectural documentation, blueprints, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Lead and manage the migration of workloads from on-premise and Azure environments to OpenShift.
• Assist in onboarding multiple AI-focused client tenants with their own isolated environments.
• Provide advanced Linux/OpenShift troubleshooting support to the DevOps team.
• Implement and enforce role-based access control (RBAC), tenant isolation, resource quotas, and compliance measures.
• Enhance performance for AI-intensive workloads on GPU-enabled infrastructure.
• Take ownership of operational stability, platform upgrades, and monitoring practices.
• Over 5 years of extensive hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Proven experience in designing, building, and managing bare-metal OpenShift clusters.
• Strong comprehension of Linux internals, container runtimes, networking, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience in migrating applications from on-premise and Azure environments to OpenShift.
• Significant expertise in multi-tenancy architecture, workload isolation, and security protocols.
• Familiarity with CSI storage, CNI networking, and service mesh implementations.
• Proficiency in using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or comparable monitoring and observability tools.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code practices utilizing Ansible and Terraform.
• Familiarity with CI/CD automation processes.
• Strong documentation and communication abilities.
• Required: Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration certification.
• Required: Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or an equivalent Linux certification.
• Nice to have: knowledge of AI/ML compute environments, GPU workloads, or NVIDIA operators.
• Nice to have: experience with hybrid cloud or edge computing models.
