Online Ordering Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Assist merchants in navigating the complete setup process for their Online Ordering pages.

• Verify ordering links and integrate them into current websites, Google My Business, and Google Food Ordering.

• Support merchants in creating new websites or modifying existing pages to align with their visual branding and design preferences.

• Manage complex integrations like Toast POS and dual menus.

• Ensure that ordering links operate seamlessly.

• Independently troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.

• Work autonomously while overseeing merchant implementations and offering technical support.

• Strong technical skills and quick adaptability to new platforms.

• Ability to establish trust and confidently address objections related to technology, time, or costs.

• Excellent detail-oriented communication abilities.

• Skill in identifying merchant needs through structured inquiry.

• Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail).

• Comfortable with making data-driven decisions.

• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms is preferred.

• Prior knowledge of restaurant POS systems, especially Toast, is preferred.

• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or website customization is preferred.

• Previous experience in B2B sales, customer success, or merchant onboarding is highly regarded.

• Must have a secure computer and high-speed internet access.

• Engagement as an independent contractor or freelancer.
